Débruit - From The Horizon

Persian Funk Ambassador, Débruit himself after 3 long years is finally releasing  new LP. The first track I heard was Akoula way back in february in Gilles' show on BBC Radio and it surely foreshadowed sth big.

From The Horizon drops June 4th on double gold vinyl and sets the standard even higher. Apart from signature synths and wonkyness (if you know what I mean) obscure samples from Western Africa funk, highlife and psych genres set the musical core of the album. Madlib sampled those it the classic way on his Beat Conducta series, but Débruit just goes to another level.
